Tips for Restoring a Classic Car
Many auto aficionados spend years buying brand new vehicles right off the lot, and then they make up their minds to restore a classic car as the next level of their automotive infatuation. However, some who don't have restoration experience end up undergoing more frustration than satisfaction. Mostly, poor planning and a general ignorance of what it takes to really restore a classic model is what stops them in their tracks. Nevertheless, there are several steps that can be taken to avoid potential failure.
Firstly, would-be restorers should be as well-informed about a model as possible. For example, a classic Mustang of a specific year might require parts that are incredibly difficult to find. So, a restorer should exhaust every outlet (internet, automotive magazines, etc.) to determine if parts are even obtainable. Not only that, if an individual does a restoration with the intention of selling the vehicle after completion, the prospective sale price should be investigated as well. It might be that a restorer purchases a 1973 Mustang, puts a considerable amount of money into the restoration, and then upon the time of sale discovers that the model is not worth nearly as much as he invested in it. Therefore, preparation is a key ingredient in the restoration process.
Next, environmental preparation is necessary as well. The complete restoration of an early Mach 1 Mustang could take up space in an entire two or three-car garage. Thus, restorers should be ready to turn over a great deal of available space (both inside and outside their homes). Not only that, amateur restorers should realize their limitations. If they are not experienced with welding, they should outsource the job to a qualified welder. Not only can it be dangerous for an inexperienced restorer to perform repairs that he is not trained to do, it can end up costing a significant amount of money to fix the damage caused by a poorly done job.
When it comes to quality, a classic car should always be restored using as many original parts as possible – the more original parts, the higher the appraisal. For instance, if an individual is restoring a specific model year Mustang that featured unique seating upholstery, it would be best to search out that exact upholstery. Not only will it add to the overall sale price, it will also add to the classic appeal of the model. However, if an original part or accessory simply cannot be found, replica parts or the highest quality modern parts should be used.
The last point to keep in mind, when restoring a classic car, is to maintain a steady pace. It can be a frustrating job restoring a classic car, especially when parts cannot be found, repairs do not pan out like the restorer had hoped, or costs go over budget. However, by simply creating an explicit budget beforehand, restorers can avoid any potential financial problems. When each part needed is inventoried and set with a maximum price, there won't be as many opportunities to go over. For example, if a restorer knows that he will need a particular steering wheel for his 1968 Mustang, and then he locates one on an internet auction site, he will already have his maximum bid predetermined. Also, if a restorer is only completing a restoration in his spare time, he should be sure to set aside a block of time each week that is solely dedicated to working on the classic car. This way, a general timeline can be set for the completion of a restoration. Also, by scheduling an arranged time, a restorer can dodge the curse of spending years on a classic car restoration.

All About Article Submission
Internet marketing needs to be subtle; mainly because there is the absence of a human being here to explain the message that you are attempting to get across. Therefore, you need to make it as humane as possible so that the person looking at your product or your site connects to it rather than simply making a plain old advertisement. This is where article submission wins hands down.
Article submission refers to submitting articles to article directories so, when a future customer starts his/her search; they are able to find your articles appealing and be drawn to clicking on the links within them; therefore, increasing the number of your potential customers. Here, it is important that you know what article, or what type of article, you should be submitting. Otherwise it will not make the impact that you desire. The articles that you create can hold links to your site or they can simply mention your site; the decision is yours.
The question here is how will the search engine list your article at the top? It is simple, though most of the article directories stress the absolute importance of the articles you submit being rich in matter, paying a little attention to the keyword density would not be such a bad idea. Properly optimized keyword density (not crammed keywords) would work to your advantage. It is also important that the title of your article should contain those most important keywords in your list. This is called SEO, or search engine optimization. It helps the search engines offer up your articles when individuals type in the keywords that your article is rich with. However, you should consider the fact that, if you actually want to get people to click on the links within the article, the keywords should be blended in naturally so that your article reads intelligently.
For people, who write or at least enjoy writing, article submission is easy because you can express thoughts in your own way and put them into words; though this can be trying for those who are not gifted or do not have the required time on hand. You need not worry, though because there are ample amounts of writers out there who are waiting for work; ready and willing to give you good content that is cost-effective. Many writers would charge anywhere between the range of $25 to $60 for a good article of 500 words; however, lesser known writers may charge even lower.
There are a number of freelance writers and writing services online who would love to provide you with their original and well written articles, all you are usually required to provide is the subject and guidelines; allowing them to fashion the article according to your specific requirements. You can even specify that these writers submit the articles to various sites for you.
Article submission is basically for Internet Marketing and it can be effective only if your article reaches a wide reader base. Article submission has been very effective for many businesses. People are able to gain a double advantage by reading your article and checking out the product or service it describes at their leisure. Articles generally provide people with information, which would be difficult to find elsewhere. Because of this, the marketing strategy has been fruitful.
If you choose to hire a writer to take on this task, it is recommended that a ghostwriter contract be created if you wish to retain all rights to the work. This is usually put into place so that whatever earnings come from readership of these articles are yours totally. Remember, though, that your article will be more effective when it contains truthful information which the reader can use to educate themselves more.
Another important aspect of article submission is that you can create your own identity on the Internet. There are so many people who can read your works and appreciate them. If you articles are something which people find interesting, you will soon see feedback coming from them. This becomes your way to fame.
There is one more aspect which really helps to define why article submission is so popular…this service is practically free of charge; providing that you write the articles yourself. Your articles will show up with search engines automatically if they are keyword optimized.

The Legend of Procrastination
A short story conceived by Richard Burke and written by Shawna Ruppert for BROCHURE PLACE INC.
Procrastination is not a term that was created overnight; as you may well have guessed. However, thelegend of procrastination is one that we find intriguingand we want to share it with you.
It all started in the northern Italian village of Picenum, around 115 BC. At that time, it was considered an honor to have a child born on a Sunday.
Not only was this the same day that the ruler of Rome, Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus, who was the forerunner to Julius Caesar, was born but the child born on Sunday was considered a gift of the Gods. The child would be laden with fantastic gifts from Pompey the Great and the Gods would favor him, as well, throughout his life.
Procrastinus Adinfinitum was born to Verbosus Adfinitum and Carpeneus (Dium) Adinfinitum in the year 115 BC. His parents were thanking the Gods and counting their blessings when Carpeneus went into labor very early on February 28th, which was a Sunday morning. Oh, the Gods were smiling! However, their dreams for this child were shattered and his mother exhausted when the infant was finally born on Monday afternoon. Nevertheless, they were loving parents and they tried desperately to give young Procrastinus everything that he needed.
His father, Verbosus, was an affluent and accomplished Picenum politician and he saw to it that little Procrastinus was well educated from a young age. He wanted to provide everything that the God’s were not going to bestow upon his son. The boy seemed to learn quickly but he would tire of learning just as quickly, too. His father believed this to be because his son was just too intelligent for the educational system that was present in Picenum.
Headstrong and stout, it didn’t take long before Procrastinus moved to Rome, in 100 BC, to learn the construction trade from Reptitious Allegios, a friend of his father. Reptitious was not only a lifelong family friend but a very successful businessman. He worked on several of the main buildings in Rome and was highly recognized in society for his fantastically intricate works.
Procrastinus was able to pick up the trade quickly. Within his first 5 years, he had built three beautiful buildings and created worthy additions for others. The young man was slowly building a name for himself in Rome, despite the fact that he lacked the momentum that was often required to complete a job in a timely manner.
A few years later, his father, who was trying desperately to seal an important political alliance for the family, arranged a marriage for his moderately successful son. Nagia Incessanitus, daughter of Herbius Incessanitus, a Roman consul, became the wife of Procrastinus shortly after his 23rd birthday. Though he did not realize it, his life would be forever changed.
Although Procrastinus was a bright young man with many ideas and talents, Nagia was a persistent and very ambitious woman. While Procrastinus was abandoning one project to move on to another, Nagia was following behind him and constantly nagging him about the needs of their household. She was embarrassed that her husband was known around the area for his work, yet, he would not make their home more presentable for their guests.
Nagia wanted to gain a more reputable position within society and her home was in dire need of a remodel in order for this to happen. She continuously nagged Procrastinus and he certainly acted like he was listening to her; however, the work was not being completed. Instead, he would start one room and then move on to another a day or so later. This only caused her to follow him more closely and speak out about these household projects more frequently. It soon began to put a severe strain on what had never been an ideal marriage to begin with.
Though she was not seeing any success with her constant nagging, she did not give up. She followed Procrastinus around for months, hounding him day and night. Finally, she decided to go away for a few days to visit with her family. Her mother was sick and her father needed Nagia’s help for a few days to care for her.
Upon her mother’s quick recovery, Nagia dreaded her return home. She knew that she would be forced to start nagging Procrastinus about the household once more. She couldn’t understand why such a talented man refused to meet her wishes.
As she approached the home, there was an odd feeling that came over her. Something looked different. The statue in front was the same, the door had not changed, there was no sign of fire – what was it?
She entered the home and looked around slowly; attempting to figure out what had changed. Nothing caught her eye in the main area so she continued on, towards the bedroom; still nothing. Then she heard it. The sound was coming from the bathroom and it sounded like metal scraping against tile. She walked down the hallway to the bathroom and, as she entered, she realized that Procrastinus had finally completed something that she had been asking him to work on for nearly a year!
He had completely remodeled their bathroom! Her husband, who was always full of ideas, incorporated some of that brilliance into the area.
Many of these great ideas are still used today, such as the personal waterfall (today’s shower), the men’s relief wall (today’s urinal), and skylights and in floor heating.
She noticed that there was a new patio laid just outside and on it sat a huge tub full of steaming water. Procrastinus explained to her that it was an outdoor group bath (today’s hot tub) and it was for relaxation purposes.
The final result made them the talk of Rome and garnered Procrastinus one of the most sought after individuals for home remodeling. Nagia was so impressed with her husband’s amazing work that she wanted to make sure he knew how much she appreciated it.
The next day, she went into the city and commissioned the making of a commemorative bronze medallion, cast in her husband’s honor. This cast featured a sculpting of Procrastinus that was embossed into the medallion. Word of the honorable reminder grew throughout Rome and it soon became known as a “Tuit”.
After experiencing the new found joy in their relationship, Procrastinus was finally cured of his lifelong habit of putting things off. His wife had gotten him “a round tuit” that said it all.
Procrastinus Adinfinitum and his family left behind a legacy that has managed to survive throughout the ages. From him, we derived the term, “procrastination”, which means a tendency to put things off. His wife’s incessant prodding is now commonly referred to as “nagging” and we were also fortunate enough to still be using many of the ideas that this great individual came up with long ago.
Finally, to this day, many a person celebrates when a habitual procrastinator finally “gets a round tuit”, and gets the job done!
