Information Regarding Services

Prior to beginning work, Creative Assistance, in conjunction with the client, will discuss the terms of the project. However, some terms will not be altered by Creative Assistance. These terms include the following:

Revisions - if any client would like revisions made to any content created by Creative Assistance, it must be requested within 14 business days of receipt of said content. Any revisions requested after the 14 day period are subject to an hourly rate of $18 per hour.

Rewrites - Creative Assistance will consider requests for rewritten content. The only guarantee made on requests for rewritten content is that it will pass CopyScape. Clients should be aware that we do not accept responsibility for any legal repurcussions resulting from a client requesting a rewrite of another individual's content. The client understands and accepts that he or she bears the legal burden by making such a request.

CopyScape check - all content created by Creative Assistance is passed through CopyScape prior to being delivered to the client.

Obscene or Questionable Content - Creative Assistance reserves the right to refuse to create content that is obscene in nature or questionable.

Creative Assistance reserves the right to stop work on any project if payment for a previous project has not been received. Please refer to the Creative Assistance Payment Policy for further information regarding payments.

Creative Assistance reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason.

The Nondisclosure Agreement 

To further protect the client’s proprietary or confidential information and to ensure that none of the company’s information relating to the products and services that we offer are disclosed, Creative Assistance executes a nondisclosure agreement with them. 

A nondisclosure agreement or NDA is appropriate for prohibiting both parties involved from disclosing any information relevant and vital in the business relationship. In the case of Creative Assistance and its clients, this could be a new product design, SEO techniques, keyword combinations, and the like. Violations of any one among the involved parties of any of the components in the agreement will be acted upon by the courts of the State of Illinois, USA. 

Here are some of the operative provisions covered by Creative Assistance’s Nondisclosure Agreement with its clients: 

1. That the receiving party (client) agrees to hold the proprietary information of the disclosing party (Creative Assistance) in strict confidence and take all precautions to protect such information, to not copy or modify any of the proprietary information by the disclosing party, to not make any use whatsoever of any of the proprietary information of the disclosing party except for the purpose provided by the disclosing party.
2. That the receiving party, upon the written request of the disclosing party, shall return all proprietary information, documents, media, and all copies thereof to the disclosing party except for those that are in the form incapable of being returned which shall be erased and destroyed.
3. That neither party shall assign or transfer any or all of the rights under the agreement without prior consent of the other party. The nondisclosure agreement shall not be amended, modified, or altered in any way whatsoever, without prior written agreement by both parties. 

Creative Assistance requires the receiving party to maintain the secrecy of the same information for five years. The same element is likewise covered in the nondisclosure agreement prepared by Creative Assistance.
